Overview
Our client was preparing a bid for a floating wind development zone in the Celtic Sea. It needed to complete a series of questionnaires to progress its application. These focused on addressing regional social challenges. The questionnaires covered those not in employment, education, or training (NEETs), apprenticeships and skills development. We supported our client by providing a local workforce development strategy within a socioeconomic report
We used our proprietary workforce modelling tools, enriched by local stakeholder engagement. This identified roles most likely filled by NEETs or apprentices. It also forecast demand across the project lifecycle. The findings were paired with a curated list of regional educational institutions and relevant training programmes in final socioeconomic report .
