Bruce Valpy will be attending “The Carbon Trust Annual Innovation Lecture 2016 – Innovation, Climate and Development” delivered by
Professor Lord Nicholas Stern.

The Carbon Trust Annual Innovation Lecture is an opportunity to listen to Lord Stern’s latest thinking, swiftly following the outcomes of COP22 in Marrakesh, and to network and discuss ideas with some of the leaders in international sustainability.

Lord Stern is the IG Patel Professor of Economics and Government and Chairman of the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment. He has been President of the British Academy since 2013, and a Fellow of the Royal Society since 2014.

He was Second Permanent Secretary to Her Majesty’s Treasury from 2003-2005; and Head of the Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change, published in 2006. He has published more than 15 books and 100 articles in his career to date.

The event will take place at the  Royal College Of Physicians, London NW1 4LE and is currently sold out but it is possible to join a wait list for any tickets that become available.
