BVGA will have several speakers at the WindEurope (in partnership with Wind Energy Hamburg) Global Wind Summit  in Hamburg. The team is looking forward to networking, debating and meeting with the global audience.

Alun Roberts is chairing the ‘Innovations in offshore logistics & installation’ session on  Thursday 27 September, 13:00-14:15.

Bruce Valpy is chairing the ‘Cutting O&M costs using data-driven technologies’ session on Thursday 27 September, 14:45-16:00

Giles Hundleby is chairing the session “Floating offshore wind – supply chain perspectives” on Friday 28 September, 14:05-14:55.

Kate Freeman is presenting ‘Floating offshore wind – future LCOE reduction and key risks’ during the ‘Taking floating wind to the next level: ambitious policies and access to finance’ session on  Friday 28 September,15:10-16:00.

We will also have some space on the Scottish Enterprise stand at the exhibition Exhibitors, joining  more than 1,400 other exhibitors and looking to discuss how we can help the 35,000 trade visitors make the most of renewable energy opportunities.

The Global Wind Summit is the biggest and most important meeting of the wind industry worldwide. It combines the world’s leading expo for wind energy – WindEnergy Hamburg and the global conference of WindEurope. Exhibitors, visitors and conference participants are expected from some 100 countries. In nine exhibition halls more than 1,400 exhibitors will be present and 35,000 visitors are expected. The WindEurope Conference features a first-class programme on the issues facing the global wind industry for round about 2,000 delegates.  The conference features leading voices from policy, business and technology will discuss the opportunities and challenges for wind in today’s changing world.

The Global Wind Summit takes place at Hamburg Messe, starting on 25 September and ending on 29 September.
