| FreeChris Willow and Andy Logan will be delivering the ‘Offshore wind hot topics of 2017’ workshop as part of our partnership with Green Port Hull
This workshop will give companies an understanding the important issues affecting the development of the UK offshore wind industry and the conditions that are placed on developers of offshore wind farms to promote a UK supply chain.
‘Offshore wind hot topics of 2017’ is half day workshop will look at:
- Key activities taking place in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire during 2017
- How the UK subsidy system works (covering ROC’s, FIDER & CFD’s)
- Levelised cost of energy
- UK Supply Chain Development.
The workshop will draw on BVGA’s practical, ‘hand’s on’ experience of the offshore wind industry. It will draw on ‘real world’ examples rather than purely theoretical concepts, giving participants information that is useful as well as interesting.
The workshop takes place at the Hallmark Hotel, North Ferriby on the morning on 21 March.
The Green Port Growth Business Support team offer a programme of workshops and events for local businesses. The aim of the business support strand is to assist businesses within Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire in their development to access opportunities within the renewables sector.
