Our local team has have won repeat competitions to deliver expert offshore wind supply chain support and workshops in Scotland.
Over five years, we have provided dedicated expert offshore wind supply chain support to over 100 Scottish companies seeking to diversify or grow their business in offshore wind. We have provided business advice, market intelligence and introductions to technology start-ups through to global engineering companies seeking to develop their understanding of the European offshore wind market and their opportunities with it.
We have also led groups of workshop events on specific themes in different locations around Scotland to enable education of a large number of companies in one go, but with time for discussion and one-to-one support. For each workshop, we built a programme of speakers and activities, which often included different BVGA staff presenting, supported by industry players providing relevant case studies. Well over 500 companies have attended the workshops and received help through our expert offshore wind supply chain support.
