The 450MW NnG Offshore Wind Farm will bring clean, green electricity to around 325,000 homes in Scotland – that’s enough to power all the homes in Edinburgh. It will displace 400,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions every year, making a material contribution to combatting climate change and its impact on Scotland’s natural environment.
Thanks to innovative design, the NnG Offshore Wind Farm will use fewer than 60% of the turbines in the original site design, significantly reducing its footprint. It will also create thousands of jobs in Scotland’s vital low carbon economy. Skilled jobs that will go elsewhere if this project isn’t built.
