Phil Beale joined BVGA in August 2021 as Senior Business Development Consultant.

Phil is responsible for implementing BVGA’s business development strategy. He does this through developing relationships with existing and prospective clients and partners and identifying where BVGA can add value and support their business ambitions. This can be for organisations ranging from governments and enablers to developers and supply-chain businesses. Prior to joining BVGA, he spent 24 years working in the geophysical exploration industry and 6 years in business, leadership and management consulting. Clients benefit from his ability to actively listen and understand what they need to achieve from a particular project or business relationship. Phil enjoys developing lasting business relationships and ensuring mutually beneficial project outcomes for all stakeholders.

Phil has an Honours Degree from the University of Nottingham and a Professional Diploma with the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He has 30 years’ career experience with a variety of companies from small independents, through SMEs to multinational corporations including several years as Managing Director Asia Pacific for a European technical consulting firm. He is a natural communicator and facilitator between technical and commercial disciplines and has spent his career developing lasting business relationships.
