Shovana Talukdar

Senior Consultant

Shovana works in our auctions and economic and industry building teams. She delivers socioeconomic benefits, supply chain analysis, bidding strategy, skills analysis and offshore wind (OSW) roadmaps. She has delivered projects for governments, enablers and developers worldwide. Shovana excels in project management, business development and research. Shovana has successfully managed projects for multinational clients involving multiple stakeholders and subcontractors. She is also our business development lead for India. Before BVGA she was a researcher for the University of Edinburgh, leading H2020 funded international renewable energy projects. Shovana is known for her collaborative and friendly approach. She integrates with team members to create supportive and dynamic working environments.

Prior to joining BVGA, Shovana was a Research Associate in Offshore Renewables, Institute of Energy Systems, University of Edinburgh. There she carried out highly numerate, analytical research studies, both qualitative and quantitative for large H2020 funded European offshore renewable energy projects. She also engaged and collaborated with a diverse range of stakeholders in Europe and beyond while working as part of a team to coordinate input into technology, strategy, and policy projects.
