In the article, Andy argues that the offshore wind industry has proven that it can reduce costs and generate good commercial returns with minimal state intervention. So the Commission’s strategy should focus on areas that need cross border cooperation, such as coordinated investments in the transmission system, geospatial panning and investment in innovation, especially storage and floating foundations.
