Senior Consultant, BVG Associates (2025 to present)

Charlotte is a member of our economic modelling team and manages projects and business development for the business strategy team. She delivers supply chain assessments, market skills analyses and marine spatial planning.

Before joining BVGA, Charlotte worked in the US geothermal and battery storage industries. She has also taught mathematics in the UK.

Her expertise in data analysis, modelling, and renewable energy in the UK and US brings valuable insight to clients. With a strong passion for data analysis, Charlotte delivers data-driven insight to clients. Her background in education has given her excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.

Charlotte managed projects and business development for the business strategy team. She delivered supply chain assessments, market skills analyses and marine spatial planning.

Mathematics Teacher, Lawn Manor Academy (2021-2023)

Charlotte developed communication and public speaking skills. She gave presentations with confidence and communicated regularly with staff, parents and 240 students. She worked collaboratively with others to review data and developed instructional strategies to deliver student learning objectives.

Associate, Endurant Energy (was GI Energy) (2018-2019)

Charlotte developed bespoke sales pitches and presentations to meet customer requirements. She was part of team that created a feasibility study to determine whether geothermal technology is economically and environmentally sustainable in Chicago.

Recent key projects

Scottish Renewables (SR): Scottish onshore wind sector deal pipeline model

Charlotte was a member of the BVGA team that built a database analysing Scotland’s onshore wind pipeline ability to meet the 2030 target of 20 GW. A report using this database was first published in November 2023 and will be updated biannually.

RenewableUK: survey of onshore wind impacts on aviation and defence

RenewableUK engaged Charlotte to enhance a critical aviation and defence survey. She analysed objections to onshore wind farms, finding 85% faced issues. Collaborating with stakeholders, Charlotte provided actionable recommendations to improve future surveys, address data gaps and guiding policy decision-making.

Leading floating wind foundation supplier: floating market assessment report

For a fundraising round, BVGA provided an independent report on relevant aspects of the leading floating offshore wind (FOW) markets in 13 countries. Charlotte identified key stakeholders, assessed government support, emissions targets, supply chain readiness, and highlighted bottlenecks for FOW deployment in six markets.

Wind Energy Ireland: offshore wind development pathway for Ireland, high profile skills report and online tool

Wind Energy Ireland commissioned an online tool to showcase Ireland’s offshore wind targets, industry progress, and potential job opportunities. Charlotte coordinated with a web developers on the site’s creation and contributed to creating job profiles featured on the online tool.
