Stephen Mills joined BVG Associates in August 2015 as Head of Marketing and Communications. His role includes brand development, marketing communications, business development and project management processes. Stephen also supports clients on market entry and business development strategies. This includes presenting workshops on marketing approaches and devising marketing plans. Stephen is an innovative, hands-on commercial marketer.
He has many years’ experience executing strategic marketing programmes and helping to transform organisations. He has worked across a range of business-to-business sectors. Stephen Mills’s work has been shortlisted for B2B Marketing Magazine’s “B2B Marketer of the Year” and won two Gold Direct Marketing Association awards. He is a practical, rather than a “conceptual”, marketer, believing that marketing is a business driver as well as a creative process.

Marketing Director, IDT Telecom (2011 to 2015).
Lead global marketing activities across B2B marketing elements, supporting strategic objectives. Responsibilities included development of digital presence, brand, internal communications, toolkits, insight and lead generation.
Director, Orange Frog Marketing (2010 to 2011).
Ran own B2B marketing agency, including a period as Interim Director of Marketing Planning for City Index. Named blogger of the year and shortlisted for “Marketer of the Year” by B2B Marketing magazine.
Head of B2B Marketing, Campaigns, Communications, Events and Hospitality, Telefonica O2 (2003 to 2010).
Managed multi-million pound marketing budget to formulate and deliver plans to achieve strategic goals. Won two Gold Direct Marketing Association awards plus 1 Silver and 1 Bronze; a top 10 direct marketing campaign award from Campaign magazine and Marketing Society Excellence Award for Insight.
