A guide to an offshore wind farm for Japan and Korea has been launched!
The Guide provides an overview of floating offshore wind development and markets. It has comprehensive insights into the components and processes involved in offshore wind, as well as detailed cost breakdowns. This includes lifecycle stages, procurement structures, supply chain mapping and cost considerations. This interactive guide offers detailed information on each element’s function and typical costs. It also summarises the history of floating wind in the UK, Japan, and Korea.
The guide is now available in English, Japanese and Korean.
The updated guide was developed by BVGA (lead by Matt Knight and Charlotte Dick) , Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, DBT and FCDO, building on the UK version also funded by The Crown Estate and Crown Estate Scotland.
