Our June 2025 Newsletter has been published.
It includes coverage of:
- A new version of influential guide launched. The Guide has been completely refreshed in look and content. It covers the latest technology, including autonomous vessels, and more suppliers. The updated guide is the result of a collaboration between BVGA and The Crown Estate, Crown Estate Scotland, Offshore Wind Growth Partnership, Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, Scottish Enterprise, South of Scotland Enterprise and, Highlands and Islands Enterprise.
- RenewableUK’s Global offshore wind 2025. BVGA’s delegation to GOW this year includes Leo Bertels, Neil Douglas, Alun Roberts, Bruce Valpy, and Eleanor Young.
- Technical resource assessment for Ireland published. It provides a detailed analysis and recommendations for the development of offshore wind around Ireland’s coast. We collaborated with Gavin and Doherty Geosolutions and AFRY to produce this important evidence base.
- Seanergy. We are pleased to be official partners of the event. Patrick Browne is participating in the Reaching for the sky – with ever larger wind turbines. Can Europe get a seat at that table? panel discussion on day two of the conference.
- Australia’s Elections blog by Matt Knight.
- Norway and Philippines auctions. We’ve seen the launch of two offshore wind auctions recently.
