The Crown Estate (TCE) has launched Round 2 of its Supply Chain Accelerator Fund – and this time, there’s £15 million on the table, with up to £1.5 million available per project.

This is a significant opportunity for UK-based companies aiming to boost their role in the offshore wind supply chain – particularly in port infrastructure and facilities that will power the industry’s next phase of growth. But the clock is ticking. The application deadline is 27 June 2025, and successful bids will need to clearly demonstrate value, viability, and impact.

What the Crown Estate Supply Chain Accelerator offers
  • Up to £1.5 million per eligible project
  • Focus on projects that increase offshore wind supply chain capacity, especially in supply chain facilities and port infrastructure
  • TCE may take a stake in commercial projects if they proceed to capital investment phase, and
  • Total fund size this round: £15 million
What applicants need to show

Your application will need to cover:

  • Clear plans for developing, building, and operating your proposed facility
  • How your project adds capacity to the offshore wind supply chain
  • Detailed development-phase planning, and
  • Key financial metrics

This is a great opportunity – but it will require some careful preparation if you want your application to stand out from the crowd and score well in the assessment process.
