UK India OSW innovation accelerator

UK India OSW innovation accelerator

Overview

The Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult (ORE Catapult) asked us, in partnership with Carbon Limiting Technologies, to carry out in-depth review of successful innovation accelerator models from around the world. This was to identify best practices for use in a UK-India context.

We designed the UK India OSW innovation accelerator structure, outlining potential partnerships and proposed evaluation methods. A flexible menu of support options was also developed. This enabled participating companies to tailor support to their needs.

We identified areas of the supply chain that stood to gain the most from an UK India OSW innovation accelerator. We built a database of 1,334 UK companies with capabilities relevant to the offshore wind sector. This identified the most suitable candidates for the accelerator across the wind farm development lifecycle.
